Giving our people the opportunity to continue to develop themselves and discover new possibilities and opportunities is important to us at BPM Company. An exclusive event at Pegasystems Netherlands in Amsterdam was therefore an great opportunity for our Pega specialists. In this blog, Edo van Vliet tells you all about this inspiring day.
The future of Pega
Our visit to the Pegasystems headquarters started with a snack, drink and a chat. Then we got a presentation from Rik Meijer about Pega related figures. For example, Pega has the highest Gartner score among all popular low-code platforms. We were then presented with Pega’s Roadmap for the coming weeks, months and years by Dion Lammers. We received a clear explanation of the improvements to current functions and the expected new functionalities.
Introduction and deep dive in Pega’s UI and AI
After reflecting on the expectations of the coming period, it was time for a deep dive in Pega. In his presentation, Ricardo Cachucho explained the importance of an autonomous enterprise; a self-driving company. This has everything to do with artificial intelligence and its relevance. It was clearly explained and visualized how artificial intelligence can be made useful in an enterprise and how the Pega Prediction Studio can support this.
Marco Looy then showed us Pega’s own ChatGPT variant, the “Self-Study Buddy”, that he designed with his colleagues. This tool uses artificial intelligence to answer all your Pega-related questions!
Finally, Dion Lammers showed us even more future features, explained Pega’s new release philosophy, and told us how and when you can best use their ”Pega Constellation”.
The day ended with a drink and a snack together with the partners of Pegasystems. A great moment to get to know each other a little better and to exchange even more knowledge. All in all, it was a great afternoon, during which I learned a lot about Pega.
