Exec(ut) in Utrecht
The exec(ut) convention in Utrecht is organised by student association Sticky. BPM Company is present at the event as a Platinum Partner. Our collegeagues Sander, Hans and Jari will tell you all about working at BPM Company and our traineeship at the career market. In this workshop
In this hands-on workshop, you will experience the power of model-driven development with the Pega platform. Maarten will show live you how you can develop the foundation of an application with Pega by expanding the proces and the data model. This way you will quickly get an impression of how to develop with model-driven low-code platforms such as Pegasystems.
After this workshop
After this workshop, you will know:
- How low-code / model-driven development relates to the IT field and why this is an important development
- How you can do the basic configuration of a process and data model in the Pega platform
- How you can quickly build a working (prototype) application with the Pega platform

Workshop
Maarten Veger is a Lead System Architect and People Manager at BPM Company. Maarten got his masters degree in Business & IT at the University of Twente and has more than 15 years of experience in the IT field. His most important expertise is the creation of business applications/processes with the Pega platform, with a specialization in, among other things, architecture and integration with other systems, change management, and agile working. He did this for various clients, such as Rabobank, MKB Brandstof and Nationale-Nederlanden.
Maarten will also be at the career market to answer all of your questions about working as a Pega Specialist and working with Pega.
Career market
Sander van Suilichem has been a Recruiter at BPM Company since early 2022. He mainly focuses on graduates and starters who want to get started with Business Process Management (BPM) and Pega. After obtaining his bachelors degree in Sport Studies at HAN, he wanted to work in a sales or recruitment role within a company with a informal culture. He found the right place for him at BPM Company.
Hans Steenwijk has been a Recruiter at BPM Company since 2020 and has more than 10 years of experience in the recruitment field. After his experience at various organizations, he wanted to work at a people-orientated organization where he could really make an impact as a recruiter. He is now doing this everyday at BPM Company.
Jari van Wijk is a student of the master Business Informatics at the University of Utrecht. He is currently a intern at BPM Company and working on his master thesis. Additionally, Jari is part of study association Sticky.
