On October 3, we brought a touch of Bavarian cheer to our Utrecht office for our Company Update. Not without reason, as the Company Update was scheduled on the last day of Oktoberfest. An opportunity we could not pass up! So, we put on our Lederhosen and Dirndl, stocked up on beer and got ready for an evening we won’t soon forget. Oktoberfest, here we come!
Every quarter, we at BPM Company have a Company Update. During this evening, we get together to hear about the latest state of affairs around the company, followed by dinner and drinks.
For this event, we did something special. We transformed our leisure room into a true Biergarten. Hats and fresh pretzels awaited our colleagues upon arrival. After a warm welcome, our colleagues could take place at one of the beer tables in the leisure room.
State of affairs
Our CEO, Eelco Vissinga, kicked off the evening with a presentation on the latest news and updates surrounding BPM Company. While enjoying a pretzel and a cold pint of beer, Eelco updated our colleagues on results from internal surveys, important developments within our Delivery Organization and future plans.
After a refreshing beer break, we then had a short presentation by Maarten Veger on
Modular Enterprise Reuse in Pega. He encouraged colleagues to keep their knowledge up-to-date and obtain the Modular Enterprise Reuse badge in the Pega Academy. Finally, Niels Oelderink presented the main results of the internal survey on job happiness on behalf of Young BPM.
Enjoying German cuisine
After the presentations, it was time to enjoy a joint meal with food from German cuisine. Since many colleagues work at the different locations, the Company Update is also a great opportunity to catch up. While we enjoyed the bratwurst and schnitzels, the latest personal news and updates were exchanged among ourselves.
All in all, this Company Update was a great success. We look back on a pleasant evening with interesting presentations and conversations. On to the next edition, Prost!
